Apply to join Oasis

Oasis is a discipleship program first. A place to live comes with it, but the heart of Oasis is mentorship and accountability for living a Christian life, even in seasons when that is hard. We offer a great deal, and in turn we ask a real commitment of Community Members. Here is how to begin.

1. Visit (optional). Tour the property and meet the community. Ask for a visit

2. Prescreening (required). Fill out the short form below.

3. Application (by invitation). When a space opens that fits your needs, we will invite you to complete a full application through our online application service. It includes a non-refundable $50 fee for a background check and a credit check. The screening service sets that fee, not Oasis.

4. A conversation about the agreement. We sit down together on the property and walk through the Community Member Agreement, which sets out how we live and grow together. Bring every question you have.

5. Move in. Welcome home.

What we ask of Community Members

Take part in one-on-one discipleship at least every other week, for as long as you are in the program.
Be part of community life. You are always invited to meals and gatherings, and everyone shares the monthly workday.
Live by the Christian standard of living described in the Community Member Agreement.
Pay your program fee on time, and talk with us early if you fall behind.

Looking for counseling?

Oasis Discipleship Homes offers discipleship, not counseling, so we refer Community Members to counselors outside Oasis. For Christian counseling, including help with pornography and compulsive sexual behavior, these are good places to start:

Restored Life Counseling, a separate Christian counseling nonprofit
Christian Care Connect, a directory of Christian counselors from the American Association of Christian Counselors
The therapist directory of the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals, which lists therapists certified to treat sex addiction
Celebrate Recovery, Christ-centered recovery groups that meet at local churches

Prescreening form

Hillside Oasis is not taking applications yet, so this form is for Oasis on Orangewood in Glendale, Arizona.

We use what you share only to consider you for the Oasis program. We do not sell it. It is shared only with the services that run our application and screening, the email and hosting services that carry it, and as the law requires.
